"There have been two great revelations in my life: The first was bepop, the second was homeopathy. " Dizzy Gillespie, Jazz Musician

Homeopathy is a gentle and highly effective system of medicine developed by German doctor and chemist, Samuel Hahnemann, in 1796.  As a result of his experiments Hahnemann developed the system of homeopathy for treating illness based on the principle of "like cures like" - i.e. a substance which has the potential to cause illness can, in properly prescribed tiny doses, remove the symptoms of that same illness.

Homeopathy is a holistic system of healing - i.e. it treats the whole person and not a disease label.  All the patient's pathological symptoms are taken into account in the homeopathic  process - i.e. mental and emotional symptoms as well as physical symptoms.  The homeopathic prescription can therefore assist the body in its natural attempts at self-healing.  An individual's basic level of health may be boosted, leading to improved functioning of the metabolic, neurological, hormonal and immune systems.
